MY INTEREST IN SUSTAINABLE FASHION

Hi everyone! I’m Hannah, the new intern here at SUSU Accessories. I’m a 19 year old college student here in Chicago. I’m attending Columbia College Chicago for fashion merchandising. But I’ve been considering switching to study fashion history. I'm very interested in eco friendly, and fair trade fashion. As well as up cycling and thrifted fashion.  So why is all of this relevant? We partnered up together to make something amazing following the idea of THE WHOLE IS GREATER THAN ITS INDIVIDUAL PARTS. Enter: The Guild.

Fortunately, with many individuals pushing towards transparency, companies have been exposed of their unethical practices. I became interested in the conversation when I discovered the work of Hoda Katebi. By Alia Ansari Student Bachelor of Arts in International Studies DePaul University
